Community Technology Center

Located in the Pearl Warren Building at 606 12th Ave. S. in Seattle, Washington, the Community Technology Center was established in 2002 with a grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and is maintained and operated by the Seattle Indian Services Commission.

Our lab has 14 Apple G4 and Pentium Computers running OS X. The computers are loaded with the Microsoft Office Suite of programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), The Macromedia/Adobe Suite of Programs (Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, Freehand), video editing software, and photo editing software. All of the computers in the lab have web access. In addition, there is access to video recording equipment and projection devices.

Thanks to a grant from the Tulalip Tribe, we have upgraded 4 of the computers to the newer Intel versions with 20" monitors. These machines will be ideal for video and graphics work as well as for assisting people with vision challenges

The lab has public hours weekday afternoons from noon until 4:00 pm and can be opened other hours by request. Please call 206-329-6594 to check for availablility and scheduling.
